Chobe National Park. River crossing.
An elephant crossing from one river bank to the other in the Chobe River, Botswana.
This photo was taken just outside Kasane on a boat cruise with guides of Chobe Safari Lodge. Kasane Botswana is close to where the borders of Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Zambia meet. In the Chobe National Park, there are about 80 000 elephants. Frequent sightings of hippo, water birds, buffalo, crocodiles, and puku are also viewed from the boats that cross the river.
